Christ is the cornerstone of education at Mighty Oaks Learning Center, where teachers and staff work together to understand and meet the needs of each child. In every classroom, children learn, play and build on Biblical truths that will guide them for life. At Mighty Oaks, all children, from infants to pre-kindergarteners, are recognized as individuals whose developmental progress and milestones are celebrated equally. Just as acorns are the fruit of oak trees, Mighty Oaks graduates are the product of deep Biblical truths and solid academics that will honor God in their future endeavors.

The purpose of Mighty Oaks Learning Center is to train each student in the knowledge of God and the Christian way of Life while also giving each child an excellent education. We want you to realize that from the moment your child begins attending Mighty Oaks, their education will be a joint venture with our staff and you as a parent. Our responsibility to you and your child is to help mold his or her life and character as he or she receives a good foundation for life.

Infants-Toddlers
Our preschool accepts infants and toddlers as young as 6 weeks old. The center is state -licensed and we have loving, caring, well-trained teachers and aides who will nurture your child. While you are at work or school, you can have peace of mind that your child is in a safe, loving, and clean environment.

Preschool 1
Preschool 1 is especially designed for 2 1/2 year old children who no longer use a bottle or pacifier. If your child is not fully potty-trained, we will help train your child. Parents supply all training supplies. In Preschool 1, children are taught the alphabet, numbers 1-15, habit training, Bible lessons and more. Your child will begin to work on his or her motor skills as he or she continues to grow. Children will also learn about community helpers, safety, and dental hygiene.

Children are taught to recognize numbers 1-15, the concept of numbers 1-10, and how to count from 1-50. They learn to recognize their names and print them. They are also taught the sounds of the letters of the alphabet, and how to recognize shapes and colors. In arts and crafts, they will learn to color in the lines, use scissors, and paint. They will also develop their social skills as they play, independently and in groups.
Preschool 2 is designed for our 3 year olds who are potty trained and no longer using a bottle. Every morning the children learn Bible lessons with songs. Pre-K is designed for 4 year olds. Children memorize Bible verses and new vocabulary. Using a simple, logical phonics system,the children learn to read books by the end of the year. The children will also learn to write the alphabet, blends, and words in cursive writing. In math, they will learn to count to 100, recognize numbers 1-20, understand the concepts of 1-20 and be able to write numbers. They will also learn combinations from 1+1 through 9+1. Arts and crafts, music, and play time are also part of the day.
